Viterra is expanding its communications channels ahead of the 2022 harvest to help growers across its network stay up to date with important information and exciting updates.
With this year’s season shaping up to be a big one, the team at Viterra are anticipating an uptick in enquiries, engagement, and traffic across all its communications channels over the coming months.
Viterra Communications Manager, Jane McBride says there is a wide range of channels that customers can receive updates from the company.
“Harvest is one of the most important times of the year for all our grower customers, so we are working hard to make sure they have easy access to the information they need, when they need it,” Jane says.
“No two days are the same during harvest, and our customers rely on regular updates on opening hours, segregations, pricing and more to run their businesses as effectively as possible.”
Growers are currently able to stay on top of the latest developments via the Viterra website, the Viterra app, SMS, email, and the Viterra Twitter page.
The Viterra app provides customers across the network with access to Ezigrain, live delivery updates, cash pricing, opening hours and segregations.
“We’ve recently made several important updates to the Viterra app ahead of this season,” says Jane.
“Growers can expect more streamlined digital delivery advice process, which will help them save time on these day-to-day admin tasks.
“Growers can also receive urgent updates, such as changes to delivery procedures and site accessibility, direct to their phones via app notifications or SMS messages, for the sites they typically deliver to.”
The Viterra website is regularly updated with information that growers and carriers need to know before delivering into or exporting out of the network. It is also the destination for anyone looking to learn more about harvest roles available over the summer and submit their applications.
The company also uses emails to inform growers of larger network wide changes and relevant information, and to send out its weekly or monthly receivals reports to those who subscribe through the Viterra website.
Weekly harvest reports, export milestones and grower community updates will also be shared and celebrated on the Viterra Australia Twitter account (@ViterraAus).
