Viterra is seeking a dynamic leader to take on the role of operations supervisor based at Port Giles on the Yorke Peninsula. The role will plan and coordinate grain operations, build strong relationships with local grower customers and manage all activities within the Port Giles terminal.

Based in Ardrossan on the Yorke Peninsula, Viterra is recruiting for a terminal operator as a part time position. The role is responsible for daily operations at the site which includes loading and unloading trucks, operation of driveover hopper stacker sets, maintaining bunkers, grain sampling and general cleaning duties.

Viterra is also recruiting for a maintenance electrician based at Port Lincoln on the Eyre Peninsula. The successful applicant will use industrial electrical skills to ensure fixed and mobile plant and equipment remains operational. The position will also be involved in maintenance planning and provide support in maintenance and engineering projects. The successful applicant will hold an unrestricted electrical workers licence and drivers licence, have experience as an industrial electrician with hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.

On the northern Eyre Peninsula, Viterra is recruiting for bulk loading plant (BLP) operators at its Thevenard port terminal. There are multiple casual roles available to work within a team to ensure grain is efficiently loaded onto vessels to meet shipping bookings. Key responsibilities include operating equipment to ensure grain is handled and loaded in an efficient, safe and hygienic matter to meet export requirements.

Viterra also has registrations of interest available for around 1500 seasonal roles to work the 2022/23 harvest. By registering interest, job seekers are kept up to date with the recruitment process and notified when applications open next month.

There is a range of roles available to work across Viterra’s sites in South Australia and western Victoria. Work is available from approximately October 2022 to January 2023 depending on the harvest. There are also some opportunities to stay on further into the year.
