Growers

Delivering and storing

Our priority is to provide our customers a safe and efficient delivery experience.

Our key focus areas include:

We work closely with growers to ensure our services meet their requirements, including matching our segregations to what is being harvested, and providing flexible opening hours and extending them when needed.

View our opening hours and segregation plan.

Our permanent and harvest classification employees undergo comprehensive training, and are supported by our laboratory team, who test site samples daily throughout harvest to ensure consistency across our network.

We provide safety training for everyone who attends our sites, so they know how to keep themselves and others safe.

We currently invest around $75 million into our network each year where it provides the greatest value to our customers. This is in addition to our major projects.

We are focused on making the South Australian supply chain more efficient and flexible to compete with interstate and international markets, through investing in our network and working closely with our buyer customers to meet their requirements. This attracts buyers to purchase more local grain and gives growers more competition and choice when selling.

We currently invest around $75 million into our network each year

We invest where it provides the greatest value to our customers through creating efficiencies, improving reliability and ensuring the long-term sustainability of infrastructure.

By investing in our supply chain, we:

Make the SA supply chain more efficient

to compete with interstate and international markets, keeping Viterra a supply chain of choice for domestic and international buyers and giving growers more choice when selling their grain.

Create value for growers

through providing a more efficient and effective service at our sites. We invest in increasing elevation capacity, enhancing our operations and upgrading infrastructure and technologies.

Continually improve our services

which make it easier to do business and benefit growers, such as Ezigrain, the Viterra app, warehouse to cash, digital delivery advice, dynamic binning and port direct.

Ensure the long-term sustainability of our network

by looking ahead to ensure we can meet the evolving needs of our grower and buyer customers, the industry and local communities now and into the future.
