Viterra is recruiting for a number of permanent full-time and part-time roles across the state over the coming weeks.
Viterra is a major employer in regional South Australia and is focused on providing opportunities for employees to grow and develop in their roles. More than 30 roles will be available to current employees and external applicants.
The Western region has a number of Country and Terminal Operator roles based at Kimba, Lock, Rudall, Thevenard, Witera and Wudinna.
Viterra is recruiting in the Central region with Country Operator roles based at Bowmans and Roseworthy. The Eastern region has positions based at Viterra’s Keith and Pinnaroo sites.
Country Operators are involved in a range of tasks to help the overall receival and outturn of grain at site. The roles are hands on and tasks include operating site equipment and machinery and undertaking tasks such as tarp pulling, handling ground covers, operating road grids and directing traffic. Terminal Operators are similarly hands on and focused on delivering shipping tasks safely and efficiently. No experience is necessary for an operator role with full training provided in a team based environment.
Viterra is also recruiting for roles suitable for candidates with more specific experience:
- Maintenance Officer – Electrical for Eyre Peninsula suited to a qualified electrician with experience in managing the maintenance of industrial electrical systems.
- Assistant Supervisor at Roseworthy to support the Site Supervisor in site management.
- Operations Planner at Bordertown to support the Eastern region with coordinating stock and logistics through the supply chain.
