Viterra has bolstered its service to its grower customers in the Mid North and Yorke Peninsula with the appointment of Andrew Lehmann as grower relationship manager for Viterra’s Central region.
Andrew brings a breadth of local knowledge and industry experience to his new role. Growing up on a mixed farming property in Gulnare in the Mid North, Andrew continued his interest in farming through studies in agricultural science at the University of Adelaide. After completing his studies, Andrew spent some time working for his family’s agricultural contracting business before moving into roles in agronomic research, grains industry advocacy, policy development and grower relations.
Andrew joins Kym Scott and Todd Stanford as grower relationship managers for Viterra’s western and eastern regions. Viterra’s grower relationship managers cultivate strong relationships with growers in their region and offer personalised assistance to growers across all key business areas, including operational, transactional and marketing matters.
Viterra Grower Relationship Manager, Andrew Lehmann says he is looking forward to getting out and meeting with growers in the region.
“I look forward to learning about the local nuances of the Central region and meeting with growers in the area about how we can help their business and support them to get the most out of the Viterra work,” Andrew says.
“Input from growers ensures that Viterra’s services are more accurately tailored to their needs.”
“I am here to support growers with any inquiry including delivering and storing your grain, services like our Viterra app, digital delivery advice, dynamic binning and port direct, transactions or selling your grain to Viterra.”
Viterra General Manager Accumulation & Grower Services, Andrew Wilsdon says the grower relationship managers are here to ensure Viterra is meeting its grower customers’ needs.
“We understand that growers rely on expert advice and reliable support, particularly over the harvest season where quick and confident decision making is essential,” Andrew says.
“Being able to have assistance from someone who is easily reachable, local, and knows the industry inside out is invaluable for them.”
The roles work in conjunction with Viterra’s regional operations management, grower services and accumulation teams.
Viterra encourages growers to contact their local grower relationship manager if they are looking for assistance in making the most of the Viterra network. More information is available on the Viterra website at viterra.com.au/Growers.
