Viterra has multiple cash payment options available for growers to access at site and through warehouse to cash this harvest.
Viterra General Manager Operations, Gavin Cavanagh says growers and buyers have more choice and flexibility for their grain transactions in Viterra’s network.
“Daily cash prices, sustainable cash and extended payment terms are all available options for our customers to choose from,” Gavin says.
“They are available through our warehouse to cash service, which enables growers to instantly sell and transfer their warehoused grain to a cash price. It is available through Ezigrain on the Viterra app or online.
“Since its introduction we’ve received really great feedback from our customers on how easy it is to use.”
Viterra’s extended payment terms, introduced last harvest, enables growers to transfer their grain through warehouse to cash, to a cash price. It has longer payment terms compared to those generally offered for daily cash prices.
Sustainable cash is available to transact at site as well as through warehouse to cash. Growers can sell their grain to a sustainable cash price if they have met the buyer’s sustainability requirements.
Growers also have the option to transact immediately to a daily cash price with standard payment terms at site or through warehouse to cash.
Growers can access warehouse to cash in a secure and mobile friendly format. It provides live access to cash prices and available stock in warehouse, and enables growers to check and compare prices and payment terms from multiple buyers.
Viterra’s network has over 45 buyers ready to purchase new season grain from growers this season, providing them with competitive prices for their grain.
Included in the 45, is a record breaking 18 exporters who have booked a record 7 million tonnes of forward shipping capacity for the 2022/23 season.
“This is a fantastic result for growers who deliver into the Viterra network and shows the high demand for their grain from our system.”
