A load of barley delivered to our Tailem Bend site last Thursday marked the first delivery for the 2024/25 harvest in our Eastern region.
Our Wudinna and Loxton sites also received their first new season deliveries during the week. In total, growers delivered 1300 tonnes with barley making up the majority.
Viterra wins South Australian Regional Business of the Year
Viterra won Regional Business of the Year at the 2024 South Australian Premier’s Business and Export Awards presented in Adelaide on Friday 11 October.
We were announced as the winner at a gala event at the Adelaide Convention Centre hosted by SA Business Chamber in collaboration with the State Government.
The prestigious Regional Business of the Year award celebrates the ingenuity and resilience of businesses thriving outside of metropolitan Adelaide, showcasing their pivotal role in regional growth and development.
We are proud of our contribution to the regional communities where many of our employees, customers and business partners live and work through employment and career development, and adding $1.2+ billion to the South Australian economy last season by purchasing grain from local growers and investing in our supply chain.
We are also pleased to support and give back to regional communities through a range of sponsorships and initiatives, including partnering with the Adelaide Football Club on our Country connect programme and sponsoring various grower groups and events.
