---|---|---|
Viterra total receivals* | 158,142 tonnes | 5,394,958 tonnes |
Western region receivals | 45,383 tonnes | 1,491,641 tonnes |
Central region receivals | 60,053 tonnes | 2,624,661 tonnes |

Receivals have climbed to just under 5.4 million tonnes after 158,000 tonnes of grain was delivered over the past week.
Viterra has taken 76 different grades this year to meet growers’ needs, in comparison to last year’s 63. The additional segregations have allowed growers to potentially capture higher value for their grain.
Twelve sites set new daily receival records this harvest, which is a huge achievement for employees, growers and carriers. The 12 sites included Ardrossan, Arno Bay, Bowmans, Cummins, Dooen, Monarto South, Port Giles, Saddleworth, Snowtown, Strathalbyn, Tintinara, and Two Wells.
Please note this is the final Weekly Harvest Report for the 2017/18 season. Viterra will publish a Monthly Receivals Report outside harvest, commencing Tuesday 6 February 2018.
Cooler weather last week slowed reaping in the few remaining areas in the Western region, with 45,000 tonnes taken to bring total receivals to just shy of 1.5 million.
The Port Lincoln terminal loaded two vessels over the Christmas/New Year period, allowing deliveries from outside the local delivery zone for ASW1 and APW1.
Just over 60,000 tonnes of grain was delivered into Central region sites last week, mainly from the lower areas.
New season exports from Wallaroo commenced last week with nearly 19,000 tonnes of wheat loaded.
About 52,000 tonnes of grain was delivered to Eastern region sites over the past week, taking receivals to 1.2 million tonnes.
While receivals are slowing down, sites have been busy throughout the Christmas/New Year period loading rail and outturning grain to meet a busy shipping schedule.
