Less than 100,000 tonnes of grain was delivered into the Viterra network in the past week, signalling the final leg of the 2016/17 harvest season.
Viterra has had another solid week of shipping with 160,000 tonnes of grain exported from its ports across South Australia.
Growers should note the Late Season Delivery Procedure will commence from 1 March 2017.
Each load delivered will require a Late Season Declaration Form to be signed. Late season grower deliveries may be common stocked and for this reason a grower load sample will be retained at site for traceability purposes.
Sites accepting late season deliveries will vary based on operational requirements. For more information on the Late Season Delivery Procedure, please visit the Ezigrain website or contact your local Regional Office.
Please note: This is the final Weekly Harvest Report for the 2016/17 season. Viterra will publish a Monthly Receivals Report outside harvest, commencing Tuesday 7 March 2017.
Harvest in the Western region is all but finished with small parcels of grain being delivered into the network.
Viterra’s Central region has now received more than 4 million tonnes of grain for the season with 63,000 tonnes delivered into the system in the past week.
In the Eastern region, receivals are decreasing with 26,000 tonnes of grain delivered to Viterra sites in the past week.
The region has received almost 1.7 million tonnes of grain for the season.
