Viterra saw increased receivals in the latter part of the week with almost 900,000 tonnes delivered into the network.
Wudinna (Western region) and Parilla (Eastern region) both set daily receival records last week.
Wudinna took in 6900 tonnes on Saturday 26 November, beating its 2010/11 harvest record. The following day Parilla received just over 1,000 tonnes, beating its 2001/02 receival record.
Shipping has continued in the past week with more than a million tonnes of grain scheduled to be exported from Viterra port terminals during November and December.
Over 500,000 tonnes of grain was received into Viterra’s Western region sites in the past week.
Four vessels were loaded in the Western region – two vessels out of Port Lincoln and two out of Thevenard.
New bunkers being built at Arno Bay and Wudinna have now been completed and are being filled with grain receivals.
Grain receivals into the Central region sites ramped up towards the end of the week with almost 300,000 tonnes of grain being delivered.
Sites in the Eastern region received more than 91,000 tonnes in the past week with Viterra’s Parilla site setting a daily receival record of 1094 tonnes on Sunday 27 November.
