The rainfall and cool conditions last week meant that receivals reduced significantly with 270,000 tonnes received into the Viterra network. Nearly 150,000 tonnes were delivered to sites on Monday, with 120,000 tonnes received for the remainder of the week.
Receivals for the 2018/19 harvest are now 1.6 million tonnes.
The Western region received 145,000 tonnes into its sites.
Barley and canola are still the dominant commodities being received. The cooler weather caused an increase in pulse deliveries and wheat is also starting to be delivered.
Activity in the Central region slowed last week with 84,000 tonnes received. The majority of deliveries were into sites Port Giles, Ardrossan, Bowmans, Wallaroo and Snowtown.
The Eastern region received nearly 43,000 tonnes for the week. Most deliveries were barley and canola.
Frances and Tintinara sites both received their first loads for the season.
