Viterra will work closely with growers to assess their needs following the recent rain.
The company already has a range of off-grade options available if needed and will continue to monitor segregations as harvest progresses.
Extended hours will be available at major sites this week to assist growers as much as possible between weather events.
Twenty five sites have taken deliveries across the Western region with receivals at 545,676 tonnes for the season.
Some sites have opened wheat FED1 and barley F3 segregations to meet grower needs. Port Lincoln is receiving CANO, APW1, ASW1, AGP1 from above the line.
The southern areas of the Central region started to ramp up over the past week with volumes into Port Giles and Roseworthy increasing.
The lentil crop in the north of the region is starting to wind down, while around Ardrossan it’s in full swing.
More than 86,000 tonnes of grain was delivered into Viterra’s Eastern region last week. Some areas received up to 85 mm of rain last week which stalled harvest.
