Viterra had its biggest week of the season last week with more than 1.2 million tonnes of grain received, bringing the total for 2017/18 to 4.8 million tonnes.
Five sites achieved daily receival records including Cummins, Port Giles, Saddleworth, Tintinara and Dooen. This brings the number of daily records broken this season to 12 – a credit to all employees, growers and carriers.
As the Christmas and New Year period approaches, growers are encouraged to check the Viterra website for site opening hours over the holiday period.

Growers in the Western region are close to finishing harvest after 300,000 tonnes of grain was delivered to Viterra sites last week.
Cummins broke a daily receival record on Wednesday 13 December with 20,010 tonnes received.
Sites in the Central region had their busiest week of the season last week with over 626,000 tonnes delivered.
Saddleworth achieved a daily receival record on Tuesday 12 December with 7,727 tonnes taken. Port Giles also broke a daily record with 20,398 tonnes taken on Friday 15 December.
Port Giles loaded its first ship of the season with 29,000 tonnes of wheat.
More than 289,000 tonnes of grain was delivered to Eastern region sites over the past week, taking total receivals over a million tonnes.
On Friday 15 December, both Tintinara and Dooen broke daily receival records with 1,097 and 7,939 tonnes received respectively.
Inner Harbour and Outer Harbor had shipments of peas, wheat and barley.
