Grain receivals are now underway across all regions with more than 174,000 tonnes delivered into Viterra sites over the past week.
Receivals into the network ranged from 10,000 tonnes to 40,000 tonnes per day.
Drier conditions meant more growers could start harvesting with many Viterra sites extending their opening hours for receivals during the warmer weather.
Viterra has modified its receival process for barley to reflect growers' use of glyphosate while still protecting South Australia's market access.
The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) approved a permit to allow the use of glyphosate on barley (except malting barley) from 2 November 2016.
More than 144,000 tonnes of grain was delivered into Western region sites over the past week.
The Western region has now received canola, barley, peas and wheat into the system.
Harvest has picked up across the Central region with deliveries being made to Port Pirie, Crystal Brook, Snowtown, Bowmans, Wallaroo, Ardrossan and Port Giles. Two Wells received its first load of lentils on Wednesday 2 November.
The Central region has received canola, wheat, pulses and barley.
Harvest has begun for growers in Viterra’s Eastern region with the first load of peas received at Loxton on Wednesday 2 November.
A small number of deliveries continued into Loxton across the latter part of the week, while Monarto South also received some loads of barley.
