Two of the season’s largest receival days came on Tuesday 28 November and Wednesday 29 November with over 240,000 and 256,000 tonnes delivered respectively.
Many Viterra sites extended opening hours on these days to give growers the opportunity to get their crops delivered before rain arrived later in the week.
Ardrossan, Bowmans, Strathalbyn and Monarto South all achieved record daily receivals.
Viterra also had its highest canola receival day on record on 28 November with 26,246 tonnes delivered to sites across the network.
Western region sites received nearly 200,000 tonnes of grain over the past week.
Peas and barley are largely complete, with lentil and bean deliveries increasing significantly last week.
The Central region received over 400,000 tonnes of grain over the past week – its largest week of the season so far.
Ardrossan and Bowmans each broke a daily receival record on 29 November, with 22,656 and 16,011 tonnes received in a day.
This is a huge achievement by employees, growers and carriers. Wallaroo also loaded its first vessel of the season last week with over 27,000 tonnes of wheat.
Over 173,000 tonnes of grain was delivered to Eastern region sites last week, bringing total receivals to 621,000.
