Growers delivered around 40,000 tonnes into the Viterra network in March, with total receivals ticking over 5.8 million tonnes.
Lentils made up more than half of the deliveries, followed by wheat, barley, faba beans and canola.
Multiple grain commodities are being loaded onto vessels across Viterra's six ports destined for a number of overseas destinations.
Meanwhile, postharvest meetings are commencing for both employees and strategic site committee chairs who act as grower representatives, and will continue in the coming months. Meetings in each region are a valuable opportunity to discuss operations during the 2021/22 harvest to identify valued areas and opportunities for enhancement for the next harvest.
