Viterra received just over 240,000 tonnes of grain in the past month, as growers finished harvesting and delivered on-farm stocks. Total receivals for 2017/18 have reached 5.6 million tonnes.
Viterra’s Bordertown site broke its season receival record this harvest, taking in 37,700 tonnes. This is an exceptional effort by employees, growers and carriers.
Exports have also been steady out of Viterra’s six ports with more than 1.2 million tonnes shipped so far.
As most sites now close for the season, Viterra is continuing to provide growers with delivery options for grain remaining on-farm.
Select sites are available for deliveries by appointment. Growers are encouraged to visit the Viterra website for further information on which sites and grades are available and to arrange a time to deliver their grain.
Viterra’s Late Season Delivery Procedure will commence from 1 March 2018.
Viterra has also released its annual post harvest survey to seek feedback from growers on harvest operations.
Growers are encouraged to share their views about our harvest operations, customer service and communication. The feedback is important to help improve services for future harvests.
Growers can visit the Viterra website to access the survey, which will remain open until Sunday 18 February.
