Warehousing enables growers to store their grain at our sites, whilst still retaining full ownership of it. Warehousing is available at most sites for most segregations. Warehoused receivals may be limited, if a particular segregation fills during harvest or where storage may be restricted to approved buyers.
All deliveries must be delivered using a NGR grower card, selecting ‘Warehouse’ in the buyer section on the Delivery Advice and Declaration Form.
Note: Growers delivering into warehouse are bound by Viterra’s Receival Service and Warehousing Terms & Conditions.
After growers arrange a sale of their warehoused stock to a buyer, they can transfer their grain through Ezigrain or by contacting the Viterra Service Centre on 1800 018 205.
Growers need to have the correct:
At the end of the process, either over the phone or on Ezigrain, growers will be issued with a transfer number to confirm the order is pending. Growers need to quote this number for any enquiries relating to the transfer.
Note: When selling and transferring grain, delivered tonnage figures should be used.
Domestic outturns are outturned as shrunk tonnage. Domestic outturn conditions are set out in the Receival Service and Warehousing Terms & Conditions and conditions or restrictions may apply.
To arrange an outturn growers should contact the site where their stock is held or the applicable regional office.
Growers who outturn grain will be invoiced for the receival fee and any other applicable storage and handling charges.
Growers are able to ‘opt in’ to have information about their warehoused grain disclosed to buyers.
Information from growers who have opted in include their name, NGR number, phone number, commodity, grade, site and tonnages stored. This information will be provided to registered buyers on a weekly basis until we are advised otherwise.
To ‘opt in’ to make warehoused commodity available to registered buyers, complete and return the Warehouse Disclosure Authority Form to us.
