Viterra has many exciting opportunities to begin a career within a leading agribusiness, with permanent full time and part time positions available at eight locations across the Eyre Peninsula.
Viterra is a large employer in regional South Australia with a permanent workforce of around 700 people. The business supports, trains and upskills each of its employees throughout their careers with the company.
There are a number of operator positions available, which are site based, diverse and fast paced roles that have a focus on safety, customer service, food safety and hygiene, and efficiency. Operators play a key part in the storage and handling of South Australian growers’ grain.
Operator roles are ideal for people who enjoy varied and hands on outdoor tasks, working in a team and learning new things. Successful applicants will have good communication skills, the ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers, a strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to safety. Previous grain handling experience is not required as full training will be provided by Viterra.
Permanent part time operator positions are available at Wudinna, Wirrulla, Lock, Kimba, Rudall and Tumby Bay sites. Both permanent full time and part time operator positions are available at the Port Lincoln terminal.
Viterra also has a permanent part time administrator position available at its Port Lincoln office. With guidance and support from the Senior Administrator, this role will be responsible for a range of administration tasks for sites within the Western region.
The administrator position will suit someone who performs well in a busy environment, has excellent written, communication, customer service and computer skills and the ability to learn new internal systems and processes.
Viterra offers opportunities for people with all levels of experience in our operational areas including maintenance and engineering, operations, grain classification, logistics and supply chain, accounting and finance, human resources, and legal and compliance.
