To assist Viterra in planning for the 2019/20 harvest, we are seeking feedback from growers about commodities, varieties and hectares sown.

We ask growers to fill out this quick one page survey: Viterra planting survey

Everyone who completes the survey (with an NGR) by Sunday 4 August is entered in the draw to win one of three $1000 donations to a community group of their choice. Terms and conditions apply.

The feedback from the survey will help us to:

  • ensure site segregations match grower needs
  • understand changing commodities and varieties
  • plan elevation capacity and other services.

This year, we are also seeking feedback on growers’ intention to apply imidazolinone chemicals (IMI) to Spartacus and Scope malting barley varieties.

Spartacus and Scope varieties that have had IMI applied will still be received as a malting barley grade provided the load meets all other quality requirements.

The feedback in the survey will be used to gauge how much of the crop is expected to have IMI applied which will assist Viterra with managing stocks and meeting end use customers’ requirements.

Viterra will also use the survey results to determine if a declaration on IMI application will be required on delivery. Growers can contact their local Operations Manager for any further information about Spartacus and Scope receivals and IMI application.

We will also share a summary of the findings with growers and publish on the Viterra website. All individual responses are for internal use only.

If growers would prefer to provide feedback over the phone, please contact the Viterra Service Centre on 1800 018 205.
