Viterra has launched its new mobile app this week to make it easier for growers to do business.
The new app is part of Viterra’s ongoing focus to improve its services through continued investment. The app replaces the existing Viterra app and provides Viterra information and access to Ezigrain in an intuitive and easy to use interface.
Growers can quickly access information about their preferred sites to help plan their deliveries during harvest. Site information includes site updates, opening hours, segregations and cash pricing.
A new feature in the app is the ability to access Ezigrain in a secure, mobile friendly format. Growers can transact in an easy three step process, check their delivery information and view their tonnes in warehouse which can be filtered by season, commodity and grade.
The app includes the option to receive push notifications in place of Viterra’s SMS alerts for growers to receive operational and site based information.
Growers can also receive push notifications with details of their loads once a delivery is complete so harvesting decisions can be made based on their recent deliveries. The notification includes tonnes delivered, grade, test weight, moisture, protein, the site it was delivered to and vehicle registration. From the notification, you can go directly to view the delivery ticket with more detailed information.
When setting up the app, growers can unsubscribe from SMS alerts so they are not receiving duplicate information through SMS and push notifications.
To download or update your existing Viterra app, visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The new app is available for iPhone, Android and tablets.
